Following Your Gut Instinct - Raashi Sikka, Uber

Raashi Sikka is the Head of Diversity and Inclusion at Uber, where she leads diversity initiatives across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, Asia Pacific and Global Uber Eats. Her role involves making Uber a diverse and inclusive place to work, where people from all walks of life can thrive at the company.

In this interview, Raashi gives us an insight into what it’s like to work for one of the world’s fastest growing companies, as well as sharing a deeper look into what her role involves and how Uber approaches its diversity strategies.

As a student Raashi planned to study economics, before her gut instinct told her to drop the course on her 2nd day to study mass media and communications instead. Her advice to young people trying to figure out their career path is to follow your instinct, be curious and don’t sweat the small stuff.
