Charlie Stainforth


Charlie has worked with 1000s of students at 100s of schools across the UK. He started his career in education at a London Pupil Referral Unit working with some of the most disengaged pupils. As a founding member of the skill development company, Elevate Education UK, he played a major role in their growth across the UK & SA. Following this he worked as Head of Partnerships at career coaching organisation, Future Frontiers, where he started exploring the mutual benefits in connecting businesses and schools. Through his partnership with Adrian, Circl is designed to thoroughly equip both professionals and pupils with the skills and live experience they’ll need to be effective leaders.

Natalie Tucker

Impact Lead

Natalie brings over 10 years’ experience of working across business, charities and social enterprise to drive social impact. She believes in business as a force for good, and works with organisations of all kinds to support entrepreneurial approaches to social impact. Natalie leads on Circl’s approach to measuring and maximising the difference we make to the business participants and young people we work with. Natalie is a Churchill Fellow, having been awarded a Fellowship in 2017 to visit the USA and Colombia and explore how corporates can benefit from working with charities and social enterprises. She also works at the Social Tech Trust, where she supports technology start-ups to embed impact management into their operations.

Sarah Haville

Programme Manager

Sarah has a background as a Talent Development specialist in the financial sector at UBS and Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where she worked to support and motivate individuals, teams, businesses. With a particular interest in social mobility and connecting more businesses with schools, Sarah has spent the last two years using her consultancy skills to promote positive social change throughout the education sector. Along the way, she has co-founded Bloom Six which works in alternative provision schools to promote different career routes to some of our most vulnerable young people.
Sarah joins Circl as our programme manager, providing our strong partnership link between businesses and schools.

Adrian Blair

Co-Founder & Chair

Over 7 years as Just Eat Global COO Adrian managed a team of 2,000 across 4 continents and played an instrumental role in propelling the company from a startup to the FTSE 100. Before this he led teams at Spotify and Google in California and London. In 20 years of leadership at high growth tech businesses he constantly found that young professionals need management development and meaning in their work. He designed Circl with Charlie Stainforth to deliver both in a unique way, providing real world experience of coaching diverse talent. As Global CEO of FinTech company Receipt Bank , Adrian oversee’s Circl’s development as Chair of the Board.

Florence Brandt

Florence is an experienced coach and facilitator passionate about helping people thrive and build resilience to cope with day-to-day challenges both in and out of the workplace. Accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS), Florence has spent the last five years working with a large number of international blue-chip organisations, designing and delivering programmes to meet their needs. This has predominantly included programmes on personal development, leadership, enabling a coaching culture, thriving through change and customer service excellence.

Paul Afshar

Paul ran a successful environmental services start-up in China, eventually selling the business and returning to the UK to set up FHF’s Purposeful Business division. His is now working with Adrian at Receipt Bank. Having advised 1 in 5 FSTE 100 companies on their reputation & sustainability strategy, Paul has a unique insight into delivering corporate & social initiatives.

Rob Gill

Founder at Altura

Rob started his career in investment banking, a decade long period which included 6 years as an Equity Trader at a major Japanese bank. With an ambition to start his own business, Rob moved into mortgage broking in 2006, and in 2009 co-founded a City based mortgage brokers which grew to become a major London firm and well know industry brand. Rob exited the business in 2017 and in 2019 set up his new mortgage venture, Altura Mortgage Finance. Having volunteered as a career coach to school aged students in 2018, Rob become passionate about using business to promote social change and is delighted to work with Circl.
